Harrington Bank offering V.A. insured home loans

If you’ve served in the military, you may be eligible to take advantage of a Veterans Administration (VA) insured home loan.  Whether you want to purchase a new home, refinance your existing home, or need a reduction of your interest rate to stay in your home; a VA insured loan may be an option.

Rick Morgan, Senior Loan Officer at Harrington Bank’s Southern Village branch, and a military veteran himself, is available to discuss your home financing needs.  He can be reached by e-mail at rmorgan@bankatharrington.com or by phone at  919-913-3210 (office) or 919-219-4913 (cell).

Congratulations to winners of 2009 Scarecrow Contest!

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

Please join in congratulating our fantastic 2009 scarecrow winners. This year’s runaway winner is Village Pediatrics with their hilarious entry “Swine Fluey”.  Ms. Pat Flynn’s kindergarten class at Scroggs took second place this year with the adorable ”Frogs of Scroggs”.  Congratulations to both of you!

There were 178 voters in all–a record turnout for our annual scarecrow contest!  The entries this year were all so different, and so creative.  Every scarecrow received numerous votes, so there are no losers in the bunch.  Thanks to all of the businesses that entered-you really added to the fun atmosphere of the Halloween season on Market Street!
