SUMMER 2009 SUNDAY NIGHT MUSIC SERIES
We are pleased to announce that the schedule for our Summer Music Series is now in place. “Summer” is really a misnomer, as the concerts began on Sunday, May 3rd, and run for over four months, through Sunday, September 13th. All concerts are held on our spacious Village Green. While most of our concerts are offered with no cover charge, there are a few very special ones for which there is an admission charge.
A few highlights of the Series are:
June 26th The 10th annual FREE performance by the North Carolina Symphony, brought to you by Market Street merchants association and Harrington Bank. Please note that this is a Friday evening event, which will begin at 7:30 pm
N.C. Symphony performing at Southern Village
July 3rd We’ll celebrate Independence Day on Friday evening, July 3rd with a very special performance, “Illusions of the King”, featuring Elvis tribute artist, Keith Henderson. Tickets will be $10 apiece and the first 300 tickets will be sold in advance-more details will follow. The rain location will be Christ Church in Southern Village.

July 23rd This special Thursday night performance will feature Tres Chicas. Admission will be $5.00, and the first 300 tickets will be sold in advance through Etix-more details to follow. Rain location: Christ Church in Southern Village.
