Every Thursday, from 3:30-6:30pm at the Southern Village Farmers Market
Get acquainted with this non-profit organization that provides farm fresh produce to hungry families in our community. Farmer Foodshare raises funds and donations of fresh food for those at risk for hunger or malnutrition, while supporting the farmers at our Market. They simply connect people who grow food with people who need food, in ways that are financially sustainable for everyone. Farmer Foodshare sets up a Donation Station every week at our Farmers Market, and gathers donations of food and cash to help feed food-insecure people. You can help support these efforts in one of three ways: FIND THE DONATION STATION EACH WEEK FROM 3:30-6:30PM AT ITS REGULAR PICNIC TABLE ON ABERDEEN DRIVE |
